PRODUCTION
I make it happen. Sometimes you need a DOer, someone to take action and be the one to take the first steps.
FACILITATION
I facilitate engaging activities for audiences and participants. Be it workshops or training session.
DESIGN
Five famous poets and their servants trapped in a villa as their gothic tales seemingly come to life. Play first as a poet; write poetry, drink, dance, dream laudanum dreams! Play again as their servant where you will escalate the story and take the lead in creating the horrors that haunt them.
About me
As long as I can remember I have played.
My youth was spent playing with challenges, characters and stories in role-playing games, imagining myself into distant worlds, a knight defeating dragons.
At university I played with design, breaking down products and systems to analyse how their environmental impact could be reduced.
These days I play with events in my spare time, while I help youths at technical schools organise politically.
I am Halfdan. A Copenhagen-based event producer who plays with emerging stories, immersive experiences and role-playing games.

Avalon
In 2018 I was part of producing my first international role-playing event, Avalon. A training camp for young druids on a hidden island of Arthurian legend.
Tale of the North Wind
As a small village is disturbed by the creatures of nordic folklore, and suddenly all of the family secrets come to light. Tale of the North Wind was made in May 2019.
Midwinter Toys
A little south of the north pole, in a sweat shop, Santa’s elves must get all of the toys ready before Christmas. For this late-stage capitalistic fairy tale, I designed the toy making activities.
